I was so glad to see your post this afternoon and think of you often. Like Saundra your holistic outlook can only help in your healing although I'm sure it's been hard from the sound of what's been happening with you. Your novel sounds wonderful - it's been way too long since I've felt like I could fall into the pages of a book, your's sounds like a slice of heaven on this rainy afternoon. Hurry up !

I can't thank you all enough for your constant concern. I've just gone through a battery of tests which proved identical to the set done seven years ago!. I've decided that I've had enough of this silliness and that as the weather gets progressively better, so will I.

I've just done a couple of "Querty-for-hire" jobs, just to flex my muscles, and I'll go back to MARRY GYP quite soon. I have been planning a ghost story after that. The story deals...

Thank you all for your positive thoughts and wishes. I just had another CT scan last Thursday and the results showed the reemergence of "Tree-in-bud," which is what began this whole mess. My pulmonary doctor doesn't know if it never really went away, or it's a new version. He doesn't want to do another CT scan at this time (I may start glowing in the dark!) and I'm already on the drugs they would use to combat it. So for now we're sticking with the status quo and...

Dear Saundra, Gaye, Ian and all,

My recovery is going slowly, but progressively better. I am on a stunning amount of meds (my youngest brother nearly fainted when he saw the collection!): antibiotics, probiotics, pain killers, steroids, pulmonary meds, anti-anxiety, and god knows what else. The intense amount of steroids I had been given during the hospital stays have altered my body chemistry, so for now I'm considered diabetic and have to follow a strict no-sugar diet.

I'm sorry I've been out of touch for some time, no posts, no holiday cards, etc., but beginning in mid-October I've been on a strange and difficult medical odyssey.
My GP found a black spot on my left lung on an x-ray during a regular check-up. That led to a CT scan and accompanying blood tests.
