I love books that can suck you in like a good love & mystery one. My coworker says that Nora Roberts' books are good. I'm just stuck on which of her books I should get. Any suggestions?

My suggestion is, as posted before, Sanctuary, but I am not a fan of hers. There are several other board members
who really like her who will have other suggestions. Check out the any good book suggestions post that you
started--the Nora fans have listed a fair amount of hers that they like...
http://bestsellersinfiction.yuku.com/topic/8821 hope one of them suits you. |

i recommend Black Hills, Spellbound or Tribute. All great mystery/love books. Good luck!

I haven't read any of her books but i've been seeing a bunch of commercials on tv for her movies. There's one on tomorrow night on Lifetime called
Tribute (just like the book) so this may help you decide if you want to read Tribute. Here's the commercial I've been seeing everywhere:

Tribute is such a good book. I doubt that the movie will give it justice, but time will tell. Midnight Bayou is another good one. Most of her trilogies are
excellent. There's an Irish trilogy with was the first one I read. Very good and of course the setting was in Ireland. Blue Dahlia is another good one. And
there's the Key trilogies. Anything before 1986 reminds of Harlquin romances. I wouldn't bother with those. Ahhh...the Nora is sooo good.

I couldn't help but take the shorter way and watch the movie. I thought the movie was pretty good and I like Brittany Murphy's movies so I think
I'm going to read the book and compare it to the movie and go from there.

I'm sooo glad that you're gonna read the book. The book has much more that they didn't put in the movie.
