Here is my own list in no particular order:
1. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain (possibly my all-time favorite book; at least my favorite classic book)
2. Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry (probably the longest book I've read at over 900 pages)
3. She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb (the first selection of Oprah's Book Club that I ever read)
4. Lone Cowboy: My Life Story by Will James (I loved this when I read it while in high school; I managed to find a new hardbound copy a few years ago)
5. The Authentic Wild West by James D. Horan (actually a 3-volume set covering important figures of the Old West such as Jesse James, Wyatt Earp and Billy the Kid).
6. The Ragman's Son by Kirk Douglas (his autobiography)
7. I Was That Masked Man by Clayton Moore (the autobiography of the actor who played The Lone Ranger)
8. Me by Katharine Hepburn (her autobiography)
9. Growing Up Brady: I Was A Teenage Greg by Barry Williams (just a fun book about The Brady Bunch, written by the actor who played Greg Brady)
10. Cash by Johnny Cash (his second autobiography, written about 20 or 25 years after his first, The Man In Black)
11. The Twilight Zone Companion by Marc Scott Zicree (a book that discusses each episode of one of my all-time favorite TV series)
12. Chicken Soup for the Soul (various volumes but my favorites are the ones devoted to cats and dogs and other pets)
13. Dead Man's Walk by Larry McMurtry (a prequel to Lonesome Dove)
14. America 24/7 (Okay, not a book to read but a collection of photographs taken by both amateurs and professionals)
15. The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank
As you can tell, I lean towards the non-fiction section of the library...
