Both died today. Farrah had cancer. The cause of Michael's death is unknown.

Kind of sad isn't it...we just lost Ed McMann and David Carradine. Too many too soon. I had heard Michael died of a heart attack..so young

I hate watching "news" channels. I turned on CNN last night to get the details...and they're interviewing "experts" who are
hypothesizing on the causes of Michael's death. That is not news, that is speculation.

Yeah, news experts and those interviewing them are so annoying.
Very sad about Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson, thinking of each of them takes me back a few years to Charlie's Angels and ABC,123.

The Target store where I work is out of Jackson CD'S.
I hate it that he died the same day as Farrah. It seems as if the media is putting her death on the back burner. But, you know I was thinking that perhaps she wouldn't have minded. This would've made her humble. She needed to 'grow' from this experience. Which is the reason that she gave for quitting Charlie's Angels.

They're "overlooking" her death because she died of cancer. That simple. Everyone knew it was coming. (Not that that makes it any less tragic)
With Michael's death, they get to ogle over the fact that it was unexpected (though something tells me he was sooooo private that if he were majorly ill
even his family wouldn't have known). They get to ogle over the fact that the Prince of Pop may possibly have died the same way the King died. They get to
ogle over the fact that he had this sold out concert scheduled...and now all those tickets have to be refunded (though alot of people will hold on to their
tickets for value/sentiment)
It's just sad all around. They died, let them rest in peace.

I just looked on Amazon for other book-related things but noticed that they already have a book out on Jackson's life. Boy, someone must've been
working 24/7 and more t0 get that one out.

cutie .. yeah. You will see .. in the next couple of months, we will be flooded with " Michael Jackson - Special Best Of" CDs and DVDs.
I have immense respect for MJ's incredible gift and talent (only recently did I see the very old videos of the Jackson 5 .. MJ really had massive talent), but I find it so sad that he spent most of his life to hide his ethnical background, to totally ruin his body. Also, all those rumours about his child molesting thing .. that was so weird and awkward.

He was definitely an unusual man and with all his success still searching for something.

yeah, I know some people are honestly mourning...but I think stuff like that is just in poor taste.

and most of the people publicly showing they're "mourning" didn't give a toss about these famous people while they were alive...I remember
the same thing after kurt cobain killed himself...and jerry garcia died....all these tears from people who didn't care about them or their music while they
were alive....it is a mob mentality.

Honestly, the star's death which affected me the most was Rich Mullins' death. September 19, 1997. Right after Princess Di and Mother Teresa. It's
still difficult (and lovely) to hear his music. The true meaning of bittersweet.

I guess the good news (if there is such a thing) is that MJ's music is selling again like hotcakes...so his children will be taken care of.
