The situation with North Korea is a bit scary I think. I cannot understand the need to build / test weapons of mass destruction - who exactly do they think
will "win"? die last? Amazing thoughts coming from a country girl in the middle of a heat wave in the woods of Kentucky that spent 30 minutes this
morning laughing at and trying to whistle with the cat bird out my back door. Life is crazy strange these days.

I really wish my new chases were up on the porch so I could lounge and enjoy the morning - I need to call my young strong nephew to come have dinner, which
means I have to cook, which means I have to go to the grocery or market .. perhaps I'll just sit in the old porch chair *laughing*

I'm not sure why (probably the economy) but the local fireworks were cancelled this year.

The "next hill neighbors" did fireworks Thursday night - they were great although SteveO had already gone to sleep and I was watching them alone -
one shouldn't watch fireworks alone, I think there's a law or something? *laughing*
