Thanks mags. I'm sure it will show up. When I read that Bookmooch put an app on the phone/iTouch, I went to look for mine. That's when I realize it was
mislaid/lost. While I was looking for it, I found a Starbucks card under the dresser. Has $15 on it. WOOHOO!!

Well, between the two of us, we must be an entertaining pair-"dufus" and "goober"-
by the way, did you ever read Highlights magazine as a kid-remember Goofus and Gallant? Gallant always did his homework, made his bed while Goofus- he didn't take his dirty dishes to the sink, he didn't tie his shoes or put his dirty clothes in the hamper. Poor Goofus-but the thing is, he was always more interesting than Gallant! |

I remember Highlights. Loved it. I hated going to the dentist when I was little(still do
)but that's when Highlights came into my life. Goofus &
Gallant were always funny & so was the family somethingsomething Toes. Ahhh...memories.
I had thoughts of sending short stories to the magazine but didn't. |

It took her awhile to get accepted by them. I guess they are pretty strict. She had been published in many children's magazine before she got accepted
there.

I really hurt my husband last night. I did not mean to seem insensitive, but that is the way he took it. He thought I was wanting to fight

awww...I am sorry to hear about this. I have been married lots of years and we have had several fights like this. But these are the things that make marriages
strong. You seem like a sensitive person to me..but also one that calls it like she sees it. Sometimes that kind of honesty can be mistaken for insensitivity.
If I were you I would try to come up with some kind of a truce before he goes out of town. Maybe you can't solve all the problems but you can promise each
other that you will work on them.
