@ Gaye; thinking we're a hilarious couple. Sometimes we say the same thing using different wording;now THAT'S annoying.

Mosa .. my hair is beyond description - I'm literally startled every time I walk by a mirror. A new hair dresser - my statement "I think I want to go
a bit darker w/ highlights" - my hair is dry and accepts color very well - suffice it to say, the color even dyed my skin - she put streaks in it - I
thought they were supposed to be highlights? - I went from maybe a golden med. brown w/ gray to a somewhat ash dark brown with what I would call golden blonde
streaks = kind of a young tortoise shell look ?? *laughing* thank gosh I'm old enough to be considered eccentric and can get away with somewhat strange
pretty well.

Gaye!!
I thought I was a guest at your literary dinner! Hmmph, no more pondering for you! As to your hair, tortoise shell is beautiful. Are you liking it? It is so interesting how we are about hair. My mom's friend dies her hair and it is the most outrageous shade of orange under certain lighting-like the kind you only find in public. The first time I colored my hair, I asked a friend to help me pick the color. It was a dark brownish red on the box. (I have medium brown hair naturally.) So I bought it, came home, colored my hair, blow dried it, looked in the mirror. I thought it was too bright, but liveable. I then took the garbage out to the dumpster. It was a bright, gorgeous sunny day. My hair was so freaking flaming red in the sunlight I couldn't believe it! (My bathroom doesn't have bright lighting.) I felt like I was screaming at the world with my hair. The crazy thing is I got so many compliments it wasn't funny. Totally couldn't understand it. |

I'm wondering why I've agreed to help a friend edit his novel when I have no clue what I'm doing...lol

Cutie...was off to kid bro's wedding....and yes, I always feel like I'm packing!
On my mind....I'm tired of working on a friendship with someone who doesn't understand that the point of a friendship is HONESTY. Done with that chapter...moving on...will send an email saying so, because right now I'm so ticked, I'd SCREAM on the phone.

Woo hoo!
Yay, me!! Okay, ya know the closet door that wouldn't open? Um, like, I complained about it a month (or more) ago? I finally got it open! I was too stubborn to ask for help and when my jiggling around the knob and trying the credit card, knife and screwdriver tricks didn't work, I just ignored it, telling myself I'd call the landlord....tomorrow, yeah, tomorrow! Obviously, tomorrow never came. I had certainly thought of looking for info online, but figured there would be a visual diagram that left me out in the cold, so I didn't try. (Sigh.) I also thought about taking the pins out of the hinges, but, sadly, I'm not mechanically minded enough to have figured out how to do that... But an old cat can get over being stubborn and I did Google it just a few minutes ago and it was so fricking easy! Just needed a screwdriver and a hammer. It took some work because the bolt thingy was stuck in the lock position and I stubbed my fingers a bit, but-- YAY!!!!!!! I can now get in my closet! Simple pleasures... |
