ah..you are not nosey at all..I appreciate you asking. She seemed to be so good for awhile and now everything seems to be going bad. Her blood sugar is out of
control and she is not even diabetic. They gave her insulin yesterday. She feels terrible and feels like the end is near. We are back at home because we have a
cat back here that needs care and our home that needs care. Her vital signs are pretty good but she keeps getting these bad feelings.

Saundra, my father had a stroke back in August (he was extremely lucky-had very little lasting effect from what could have been severe) and was doing well,
then went through a bout of vomitting for days a month later, which triggered major fluctuation in his sugar levels for a few weeks. They seem to have it
stabilized now, but it's pretty scarey.

MAGS-- my son's surgery went well, thank you for the concern. He went to school the next day. He even played tennis the next morning. He said that the
surgery site felt like a slap on the wrist.
Now, my mother is gonna have surgery on Nov. 10. She has tumors and calcification on her parathyroid. I swear -- I think the worst part of having surgery is getting everybody's schedule in order. None of my sisters can come help so my aunt is gonna come. That's so nice of her. |

You know I just wonder whenever something like that (stroke) that it might take a domino effect for awhile as far as brain synapsing and messaging - you hear
so much of problems with high and low potassium levels after a tramatic illness - also, personality changes after heart probems / surgery.

I think that is so true..and she has become a bit fearful..kind of believing what she dreams about. She keep telling hubby about dreams she had several nights
ago. (she made her feel afraid)

Sometimes I miss our first house too. Even after 16 years. 4 of our children lived in that house, we bought it 3 months after we got married. But, I love this
house.
