Looks as if I'll need to water my flowers today. No rain in sight.

We may have spotty showers for the next week, but that's supposed to be about it. The boys will swelter at Youth Camp.

Ya'll can come borrow some of my rain....my poor plants are swimming! I have to go out after each storm and dump the water out of the containers.....and
it's like we have a storm every day...so nothing is drying out!

We're in the upper 80s, low 90s. I'd still rather have this than winter.

I awoke this morning at 5:38 am. The sun was just peeping over the horizon. Beautiful!

I really think I need a sewing machine - with a surge thing, I learned this yesterday - me the one that cannot even locate a needle/thread travel sewing kit I
bought and apparently have never needed since buying it a few years ago. I'm so silly.

Thanks for the encouragement, Gaye. Although I did get annoyed with Mom the other day. She said that I'll feel so much better. How does she know I
feel???????????

MiniLL won the county Health and Safety speech contest. She needs to polish it, and go to the regional competition on July 10. It's a long way away from us

Tell her that good public speaking skills will serve her well in life. When my Dad insisted that I take Forensics (no not dead bodies...speeches/plays etc) in
HS I thought he was insane. Took 3rd in State in Extemporaneous speaking, and 2nd in Dramatic Presentation.

How did you doctor's appt. go AlbertChester? - I'm sorry Cutie, I know what you mean about others saying things when they have no idea how it really is
- the emotional stress of surgery and how each of us handle it, is truly personal. I think I would benefit from it that's why I listen to what others say
about how they got along after the procedure.

Well, I'll let you know. I had my pre-op this morning. The doc was telling me of this 70yo woman who had it and she was driving her grandkids around in 2
days. Now, I hope I feel THAT good. Hubby's gonna take off for a few days and I know he will not let me do that.

When I had my cystectomy you weren't supposed to drive for 2 weeks...and no stairs! My house had very steep stairs...so I went to stay at my parents...but
they were both working, and my sis was in college...so noone to take care of me...I got bored and drove to Lancaster (from NJ at the time) for a dog
show...wound up with a 6 month old 90+ pound Rottie sitting on my stomach....not good!
