This is a good blog for me to have.

Well...I have an interview today with a Dr. office at 5pm so we'll see how that goes

I've done the usual faxing etc. this week.

I filled out the whole big application for Wal Mart even.

Filled out the apps. for county jobs, UF, Shands, which I've never done before, so I can apply for those jobs.

That interview went OK. I'd be interested and I wrote and faxed my follow up.

Nothing new in paper from Tues.

Need to explore other routes than just faxing for office jobs.

Need to make sure all online apps are complete.

Need to see how to get in to Target.

I have another interview for an admin type position next Wed.

Friday I looked thru Thursday's paper, as well as "Employ Florida". (also found out that my dream job at UF had been filled for sure

) Faxed some more ... a weird fax I sent to a temp agency that's small happened to have an accounts payable position and called me ... it was very last minute so I raced to their office in G'ville. I passed the drug test (

) and the A/P, Excel and Word tests with high scores, so I start Monday. It's part time 10-2 every day, which gives me time to look for FT work. Also it will be full time while one lady is on maternity leave. So that's a start !!
I'll still get Sunday paper and still look for FT jobs as long as this is PT. I'm glad it's thru a temp agency.

Ahhh nearly four months later ... well I got hired on at a CPA firm, I'll be the one who puts the staple in your return and the sticker on your envelope. I'll also be the one who moves in to a paraprofessional position as soon as there is one there

yep still have the above job, we're fixin to go into tax season for months so I'd pretty much have to blow up something to get fired

so sudsy....your company is like H & R Block?? 'I've got people"??? be careful with the stapler, they can be dangerous weapons inthe wrong hands!! actually it may be more dangerous using one of those staple removers....terrorists are looking at teh wrong things!!!

I'd say half n half. I don't think I'll ever advance there and it's just a job in the sense that I'm not doing something I love like accounts payable, but I like a lot of the people and I do get a good sense of satisfaction when I finish stuff. I mean I have personal effects there...pictures and stuff, and I don't usually do that, so that's a good thing

For me I had jobs that I liked and some were fulfilling but I never had one that I absolutely loved. I envy people that do but I think it might be rare.
