I have been quiet, lately. I had company last week. I had attended my first Anime Convention. It was an interesting experience....not much else to report,
except my place is a mess after my company.

Until the kids AND my husband are grown, I won't be able to have the neat and tidy place I want....

The convention was very fun! I saw so many fascinating costumes. It is funny there is a GenCon in August...it is like 4 minutesaway from my NODCC Conference.

Today, I went to my Dad's for a family BBQ....He tells me later that his GF was going to be there, but she knew how much I hated her guts so she decided
against coming. The thing is MY BROTHERS DO NOT LIKE HER, either. The fact that she is my age is why my brothers and I are finally agreeing on something. My
dad suggested that I should get to know the GF, which will never happen because I know she is a lying evil woman. She claimed to have had brain cancer, yet
she did not have any form of cancer treatment and she was miraculous cured. I do not know how she was able to explain that to my dad. If my dad had a GF
who was closer to his own age, then I would be more happy for him. Heck, if it was anyone else, I would be happy for him. There is something about this woman
I do not like.

Aquaryan..I think it must be hard to see a parent with some one your age. But I am thinking if she makes him happy that is a good thing (as long as she
doesn't run off with his money)

Well...I hate being alone. I went to the movie by myself again. I went shopping by myself. I cannot get a friend to meet up...they make excuses. Yet, if
my dad thinks that he was lonely and needing company, he is sorely mistaken.
As for work, the owner is going to China for a holiday. I hope he has a fun time... he has not gone on a holiday in over a year. |

You cannot hate your dad's GF for being younger. She probably makes him feel alive. Tony is 20 years older than me, and I'm only 2 years older than his son. We work wonderfully together. You can hate her for lying. That is inexcusable. Have you explained to your father what your problem with her is?

It has to more with her than her age. There is something dark and evil about her that makes me very uncomfortable to be around her. He thinks that I will
change my tune, if I talk to her. I had never ever wanted to do anything with her, so why should I start now?
