My brother and his son might come to visit next weekend. If that is true then I will put the tree up this week

Today! Both trees are up! Outside lights are up!
There's a bit of debris around the house and some left-over ornaments that I gave up on because the sun was down and I couldn't really tell how full the trees were. I'll take care of that tomorrow....

Every year until now I have always put the tree up on the day after Thanksgiving. This year I worked on Thanksgiving until 11 pm and then stayed up until I was
picked up to go shopping at 1 am on Friday. By the time I got back home the last thing I cared about was the tree. It will probably go up today.

I was thinking about a real tree this year, but it would have to be a very very small one. Do they actually have itty bitty trees like that?
I never did get my Halloween decorations up, so maybe I'm reaching for the stars here. I've never had a real tree and I don't have lights any more (haven't put up a tree for years--there was no space to store it after the holiday and no place to display it during... I don't even have the tree stand/water feeder bowl thingy.

we got a small tree last year Mosa..it was still nice...It filled the room with wonderful pine smells.
We were gonna buy one today at Home Depot..but they don't have fresh ones in yet...just the same old ones that were dropping needles from last week. |
