I don't think I ever buy one book. I usually get a batch, sometimes in the 3-for-2 offers. Ther last three I bought were
Dance, Dance,Dance by Haruki Murakami The Feast of the Goat by Mario Vargas Llosa The Tin Men by Michael Frayn. It's likely to be some time before I get around to reading them as I hve so many in my TBR pile. |

I bought a used copy of the Last Battle by C.S Lewis in English from the store I work in. I decided I want to have the entire Narnia series in English (I already have it in Hebrew).

I bought 9 books recently from a discount bookseller that were mostly movie-related but I think I've gotten this one since then...
The Films of Katharine Hepburn. This is one of those "Films of" series from Citadel Books. They're large-sized softcover books and I have over 20 of those. |

Ooh, Saundra knock on wood! That's how I killed Lana Turner -- one day I was watching Imitation of Life, turned to my husband and asked, "Is Lana Turner still alive." The next day she died!

I think she's dead ... hang on, I'll look it up.
Insert a pause here while I go away and come back. No, it looks as if she's still alive. One of the biographies I found ended with this as the most recent piece of news: "Her family says she is frail, suffering from short term memory loss, and withdrawn." ------ hailing from Umbagollah - http://www.umbagollah.com
