What a great choice.
Although both books are so different, I really loved both of them.

Sputnik Sweetheart
was my very first Murakami book. Back then, I was completely .. mesmerized by it.
I wonder whether I loved it as much if I were reading it now ..

The Secret History
now THAT book is one I read quite recently.
I loved it so much .. although, it took me very long until I really got into it.
The beginning did not catch me, but then .. oh dear!

I couldn't put it down.

Kentucky Woman

I had to write this somewhere - I showed GREAT restraint today. I picked up 3 books and put them all back down visualizing my TBR pile and two DVD's - I have 4 I've not seen yet I bought on pre-viewed sale at Blockbuster.

I went to Barnes & Noble today planning to buy Dragon's Kin, the first Pern novel written by Anne McCaffrey and her son Todd. I purchased that book and several more:

I bought 2 books, um. I can't remember the exact names of them... um but they are S.M. Sterlings books. He just caught my attention when I saw what it was about, Looooove it

and he's a pretty darn good writer :3

Not allowed to buy any books right now, as we're getting ready to move and I have a massive TBR pile that should keep me busy. It's just not the same.

However, I listed 13 books on eBay last night and have already sold one (Twilight!), with watchers on two of the others (two of Laurie King's Holmes/Russell series). Maybe I can channel my energies that way for a change?
